LSOG is so proud of those of you who participated recently in Minnesota!   LSOG athletes won 77 medals overall, competing against the whole NATION with 18 gold, 23 silver, and 36 bronze. Great job to all!

NOTE!!!!! 2015 is NOT A "QUALIFYING YEAR;"  PARTICIPATION IN 2015 DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR THE 2017 NSGA OLYMPIAD.  2016 PARTICIPANTS, HOWEVER, WILL BE ABLE TO QUALIFY for the 2017 NSGA OLYMPIAD (see Rules Book for Clarification)

FOR THE 2015 LSOG OLYMPIAD, ON-LINE REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE TO THOSE PARTICIPANTS WHO CHOOSE TO REGISTER ON LINE.  REGISTRANTS WHO PREFER TO REGISTER VIA THE FAMILIAR PAPER METHOD MAY STILL DO SO.

LSOG's 2015 Olympiad is Coordinated by the Southwest Louisiana District Senior Games (SWLADSG)

2015 LSOG Events will be held August 8 through November 14, 2015. Venues will be located primarily in the Lake Charles/Calcaseiu Parish area.  Archery and Badminton venues are in Baton Rouge; Roadracing and Roadwalking are in the New Orleans area.)

Janey, on a VOLUNTEER BASIS, Coordinated Men's Basketball, Volleyball, Billiards,Table Tennis, helped coordinate Bowling, Golf, Bocce, Shooting, Shuffleboard, and the Celebration of the Athlete.

Mission: LSOG is a sports organization that promotes physical fitness and quality life for people age 50 and over. We plan, promote, and conduct a statewide program which includes competitions held at the local and district level, an annual State event, and participation in the biennial National Games. Life Begins at 50 !!!
